The Old Robin Hood, Holmesfield, Nr Sheffield

A major conversion of the listed 'Robin Hood' country inn, into a 4 bedroom family home.

This was a very prominent refurbishment scheme for us at Spacestudio. The building, located on the top of a hill, was, as a former country inn, a local landmark.

Working with our clients, we listened to their requirements and over a period of time refined our design to meet their needs thoroughly.

Externally the original features and characteristics of the property were carefully maintained. The sustainability of the building was improved by incorporating a ground source heat pump for heating, and a wind turbine to generate electricity.
